I recently worked with Craig for a rural property inspection, and I was extremely impressed with the service. One of the biggest challenges with rural properties is coordinating multiple inspections, but he handled the home inspection, well inspection, and septic inspection all in one appointment, which made the process incredibly smooth. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly as we went through each part of the inspection. He took the time to answer all of the buyer’s questions and made sure we understood the condition of the property. He also went the extra mile by collecting the water sample and dropping it off for testing, which saved us a lot of time and coordination. What I appreciated most was that he never rushed the inspection. He took his time to carefully check everything and was very thorough. He is also very tech-savvy and came equipped with all the right tools and equipment. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and thorough home inspector.Posted on Lisa best rmt DurhamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience start to finish. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze, the online tool was simple and straight forward, easy to use and navigate, and accommodated my schedule. Craig arrived on time, performed a thorough inspection and provided an in-depth report that was very user friendly and easy to understand. Not just deficiencies were supported with photos but also his findings. This gave me confidence that the service was done as promised and that any deficiencies found are as stated. What’s really helpful about the report is now I’m aware of issues I didn’t know were a problem and can start prioritizing repairs to correct them based on their severity and the potential to cause additional concerns. Overall I’m extremely satisfied with the level of service I received, the level of professionalism exhibited, and the ease of booking the service. Thanks again for the great work!
A home inspection is a professional review of the major systems and components of a house — including the structure, roof, exterior, heating and cooling, plumbing, and electrical — with the goal of giving you a clear understanding of their condition at the time of the inspection. The assessment is limited to what is visible and accessible on that day, providing a snapshot of how the home is performing so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
A home inspection is a visual, non-invasive review. We don’t open walls, move furniture, or perform destructive testing. We also don’t operate specialized safety systems or push equipment beyond normal use — for example, overloading electrical circuits or forcing HVAC systems. Instead, we combine visual observation with specialized tools like thermal imaging, moisture meters, and electrical testers to see beyond what the eye can detect, highlighting concerns and recommending next steps when needed.
Our inspections are priced by the size of the home. You only pay for the area that we inspect. Every client receives the same detailed inspection with the same tools and techniques — no upsells, no additional charges. We secure your booking with a deposit, then confirm the square footage at the time of the inspection. Final payment is due with the report delivery within 24 hours of your inspection.
The time depends on the size and complexity of the home. Smaller properties may take a few hours, while larger homes require more time to cover properly. At Invest Inspections, we don’t force every property into the same slot — the bigger the home, the fewer appointments we open that day. With 24-hour report delivery, every inspection receives the same comprehensive detail, no matter the size — quality over quantity.
A home inspection is a review of how the home’s systems are performing on the day of inspection. I’m not enforcing building codes — I’m focused on spotting deficiencies, safety concerns, and components nearing the end of service life. To do that, I rely on both experience and tools like thermal imaging, moisture meters, drones, and electrical testers. Findings are documented, explained in plain language, and paired with clear recommendations so you understand the impact and next steps.
A home inspection isn’t a pass-or-fail test. My role is to act as an impartial observer — to show you exactly what’s there without bias. Buying a home can be stressful, so the report is designed to cut through the noise and give you clarity. Every report is built around our T.R.U.S.T. protocol: Thorough, Reliable, Unbiased, Strategic, and Transparent. It’s not about passing or failing — it’s about giving you the insight you need to make confident decisions.
The best time to ask questions is during the inspection itself — we want you there so we can address concerns in real time. At the end, we sit down for a summary session to review key findings and make sure everything is clear. Should you have more questions in the days, weeks, or even months after, you can call or email anytime and we’ll be here to support you.
We know timing is critical when you’re making a decision about a home. At the end of the inspection, we leave 15–30 minutes to discuss top-level findings on-site. The full report — including photos, video, and detailed notes — is completed within 24 hours. Your full report and payment balance will be emailed to you for download.

As a certified drone pilot holding an Advanced License, I am authorized to operate heavier drones equipped with professional-grade cameras and sensors. This aerial technology captures high-resolution video and photography of roofing materials, flashings, and penetrations — making it possible to inspect areas that may be unsafe or inaccessible due to rain, ice, steep pitch, or fragile surfaces. The result is a more comprehensive view of critical components.
As a Level 1 Certified Thermographer, I use professional infrared equipment on every inspection to reveal conditions not visible to the naked eye. Surface temperature patterns help identify water intrusion, moisture penetration, insulation gaps, and air leakage. Findings are confirmed with advanced moisture detection tools, providing a higher level of diagnostic insight.
It takes time to compose a quality report and deliver the most meaningful information. Twenty-four hours allows us time to capture and organize every critical detail. The result is a polished document, prepared with care, giving clients insights when they need it most. —BUILT FOR CLAIRITY. DELIVERED WITH INTEGRITY
There’s a difference between a picture and a photograph. a sharp, well-composed image makes the difference between guessing what your looking at and understanding. Each photo highlights what matters and where it’s located, giving clients clarity and confidence when navigating their report.–
Video turns the inspection report into more than just words on a page — it lets clients see critical details for themselves. Short, focused clips highlight findings in real time, making the report easier to understand, more engaging to review, and far more useful when making decisions about the home.
The exterior inspection includes cladding, windows, doors, drainage, stairs, and railings. Inside, walls, ceilings, floors, and finishes are inspected, with insulation observed where accessible. Together, these observations show how the home is performing at the time of inspection and how it protects occupants from the elements.
Heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment are inspected. Each unit is operated with standard controls to observe function, while visible ducting, piping, and registers are checked for condition and performance at the time of inspection. Operation of certain equipment is dependent on seasonal conditions and may not be tested outside of safe temperature ranges.
From the roof rafters and trusses down to the foundation, every accessible structural member is carefully inspected. This includes framing, beams, joists, posts, and visible connections — ensuring your home’s skeleton is sound, safe, and built to last.
Service panels, breakers, visible wiring, and accessible receptacles are inspected. Accessible receptacles are tested using professional analyzers to verify correct wiring and GFCI devices. Thermal imaging is applied to detect overheating at connections. Lights and switches, are checked for function at the time of inspection.
From supply lines and distribution manifolds to drains, waste, and venting, all visible plumbing components are inspected. This includes piping, fixtures, and accessible connections — observed for condition, evidence of leakage, and functional flow at the time of inspection
